There's not much I can say about Tom Sowell that hasn't already been said.

First, he's a living legend in the world of rationality. He epitomizes the term "objective observer" and is known for reporting on and arguing in favor of the hard data, not outcomes that he has personal emotional investment in. I think this is his most important characteristic.

The second principle of Sowell that is being lost in today's society is the understanding that there are no "solutions," only trade-offs. Low-IQ participants in the political game today only think in terms of "solutions" without understanding that every action has consequences.

We would all be better off if we could undertand and follow these principles.

Tom Sowell content is hard to come by these days as he rarely gives interviews and doesn't produce anymore.
